Zoning Changes for Health First Move Forward

May 13, 2022 – The Brevard County Planning and Zoning Board this week approved zoning changes and variances that would allow Health First to build a new hospital and “wellness village” on Merritt Island.

The Merritt Island Redevelopment Agency had made a similar unanimous vote on April 28.  The next step will be for a potential final vote by the Brevard County Commission on May 26.
