Terran Orbital Expects to Break Ground This Year

February 20, 2022 – Terran Orbital expects to break ground this year on a 660,000-square-foot facility that will be capable of producing more than 1,000 small satellites per year. Billed as the largest small satellite facility in the world, the company plans to create 2,100 new jobs by the end of 2025, paying average annual salaries of $84,000.

This is another example of a company taking advantage of the incentives offered by Space Florida, the state’s aerospace economic development agency.

By 2030, Space Florida aims to have facilitated more than $10 billion in transactions to position the state for emerging space opportunities, including off-planet manufacturing, energy production and tourism.
