SpaceX Launches A Record-Breaking Veterans Day
November 12, 2024 – We have to salute the team at SpaceX. On Veteran’s Day the company sent a Falcon 9 rocket into space and then about four hours later did it again. And the schedule calls for a launch every two days until the end of the year. It’s a launch-watcher’s dream.
Monday’s launches were first: the Koreasat-6A mission and second: the Starlink 6-69 mission. The first launch of the day broke the record as the 77th orbital launch during a single calendar year. Hours later the record was smashed again with the 78th such launch.
The space industry here on the Space Coast shows no signs of slowing down any time soon. Keep your eyes on the sky.
