Cape Crossing Resort & Marina

A prime example of successful Redevelopment in the MIRA area

Meet some of the visionaries who took the beloved, but deteriorating, Tingley RV Park and Marina (a Merritt Island landmark for more than 50 years), into what is now a destination resort with 47 island-style townhomes and a 6-story condominium tower with 35 water-view units for locals and visitors. Since opening, they have added services such as paddleboard and boat rentals, kayak tours, and a waterfront bar and grill.

“The community was developed by Tristar Development Partners a company that prides itself on investing in projects that are all-inclusive in their dedication to green-building, environmental protection and long-term solutions for communities. The Marina Resort Complex of Cape Crossing used to be a long neglected piece of land that held a lot of nostalgia for locals because it was the former home of the historic Tingley RV Park and Marina (a Merritt Island Landmark for more than 50 years). We completely rehabilitated the land to make it a place where both locals and travelers alike can bring their families to relax, explore, and experience Old-Florida.”
