Edgewood Jr./Sr. High School Among Best in State, Nationally

August 31, 2023 – Brevard County schools are known for excellence, and the latest ranking from US News and World Report certainly seems to support that fact, with one of the top schools in Florida right here in Merritt Island.

On a list of more than 1,100 high schools in Florida, two Brevard high schools ranked among the top ten best high schools in Florida, according to data released by US News and World Report.

Edgewood Junior/Senior High School in Merritt Island ranked at #7 in the state and #74 nationally.

West Shore Junior/Senior High School in Melbourne ranked at #4 in the state and #43 nationally.

Congratulations to Edgewood and the great rankings for the state and the nation.
