Fly Me to the Moon

Here on the Space Coast we are always surrounded with the very real excitement of space exploration. We live and work in an area where technological achievements are an everyday occurrence. It’s an exciting time to be living, working and investing on the Space Coast of Florida.

Merritt Island sits next door to Kennedy Space Center and NASA activities and at the heart of the Atlantic Coast’s natural splendor.  The beaches are nearby.  Boating is big (and so is boat manufacturing business.) Waterways call us to fish, swim, kayak, windsurf, surf and celebrate summer all year long. Merritt Island is positioned to support both business growth in the aerospace and high-tech pipeline and lifestyles that others can only dream were true.

And this summer, even the movies reflect the world’s fascination with where we live, when Fly Me to the Moon makes its debut.  A 2024 American historical romantic comedy-drama film directed by Greg Berlanti, the film may not appeal to the veterans of the Apollo missions (the plot involves a fake moon landing), but perhaps the pairing of Scarlett Johansson and Channing Tatum will be distracting enough to suspend disbelief. That’s what the movies are all about.
