The Space Coast Birding and Wildlife Festival introduces nature-lovers to some of Florida’s best birding areas on birding and photo trips led by expert leaders. Based out of the Radisson Resort at the Port, Cape Canaveral, the festival’s Expo Hall will host optics dealers, tour companies and local environmental organizations.

After morning field trips, some by bus, others in your own car, visit the Expo Hall Wednesday through Saturday afternoons. Keynotes, Wednesday through Saturday, are after the close of the Expo Hall. Fees and preregistration are required for field trips, a few workshops and keynotes. One day registration is $25, with field tips or keynotes additional. Admission to the Expo Hall is free and there are many free workshops to attend.

The American Flamingo is our bird of the year, with 19 flamingos reported from the Indian River Lagoon! If you are interested in photography, we have special trips and workshops. Take one of the boat trips to see Botttlenose Dolphins, Manatees, and even whales offshore or one of the boat trips on the St. Johns River. This is the 26th year of this festival, one of the biggest in the country, formerly held in Titusville and just bouncing back after a pandemic-driven hiatus. If you love nature, join us for a great time!

Expo Hours: Wed – Fri from 12 PM – 5 PM and Sat from 10 AM – 6 PM

12 PM Doors Open (when exhibitors return from morning field trips)

5 PM Sips n Bits Appetizers (free with your punch card). Fill your plate and take another look at your favorite booths.

6 PM Keynote Speaker in the Jamaica Room.
