Explore the rise and fall of our local Ais (Ah-ees) from the prehistoric period to their demise/disappearance in 1765. This presentation is a hands-on examination of the history, material culture and artifacts from the Ais. We will have hundreds of artifacts, reproductions and artwork to review. Finally we will highlight their significance in the settlement of the New World and the causes of their disappearance.
