March 30, 2026 – The launch window for sending astronauts around the moon opens soon. You may have family or friends from out of town who don’t know that Merritt Island is right in the heart of all the fun things to do before or after that historic event is viewed.

There’s plenty to see and do on Florida’s Space Coast before and after launches and Merritt Island is the place to start.
