Recovered New Glenn Booster Comes Home to Port Canaveral for First Time
November 19, 2025 – NASA’s ESCAPADE (Escape and Plasma Acceleration and Dynamics Explorers) spacecraft launched at 3:55 p.m. EST, Thursday, November 13, aboard a Blue Origin New Glenn rocket from Launch Complex 36 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.
The first-ever booster for Blue Origin’s New Glenn rocket has been recovered, arriving at Port Canaveral on November 18, 2025, following the successful NG-2 mission for NASA. The booster, nicknamed “Never Tell Me The Odds,” was recovered on November 13, 2025, after landing on the company’s landing platform vessel, Jacklyn, five days earlier. This marks a major milestone for the reusable rocket program and demonstrates the viability of its marine-based landing system.
