Field Manor Puts Spirits Up for Adoption

October 1, 2025 – Here’s a spooky and fun approach to fundraising by Field Manor in Merritt Island. Just in time for the Halloween season, the organization is offering up a chance to foster one of the possible apparitions that may or may not haunt the historic structure.

Starting today, October 1, 2025, they are rolling out the latest fundraising campaign, Adopt-A-Ghost. One of the most frequently asked questions when they give tours is, “Is the house haunted?” Over the years, they have had paranormal investigators confirm that it is.

Field Manor will offer 13 ghosts you can adopt; all having lived there in the house or on the property. You’ll learn about their lives and receive a special message from your ghost.

Field Manor will have an Adopt-A-Ghost table at the Fall Festival on October 26 at 750 Field Manor Drive in Merritt Island, if you would prefer to adopt in person. If you adopt at Fall Fest, your name will be added to a raffle to win handmade wooden Halloween-themed decorations!
