Dassaut Aviation Opens New Maintenance Facility on Space Coast

October 15, 2025 – (From Economic Development Commission of Florida’s Space Coast) Dassault Aviation recently celebrated the grand opening of a major new maintenance facility at Melbourne Orlando Internatinal Airport on Florida’s Space Coast. CEO of Dassault Falcon Jet Thierry Betbeze commemorated the grand opening of the Melbourne MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Operations) by announcing the new state-of-the-art facility as the “Flagship of the Americas”.

Falcons, Dassault’s advanced business jets, are already arriving at the new MRO facility in Melbourne creating hundreds of full-time, high-wage jobs in Brevard County.  This new $115 million investment further strengthens Florida’s position as a hub for aerospace innovation. Dassault Aviation chose our region following a highly competitive site selection process. This global MRO stands as a testament to the Space Coast’s reputation for excellence in workforce talent, infrastructure, and business climate.
