Amphitheatre Nears Completion

January 22, 2026 – Here’s some exciting news. The new amphitheatre at the Brevard Veterans Memorial Center/Veterans Memorial Park is in the final stages of construction and a grand opening should be happening in the near future. We are sharing some photos taken by local pro Roger Scruggs and his bird’s eye view really gives you a feel for the beautiful location for this new venue.

As you can see, we are approaching final completion, and we will share any details for a grand opening when they become available! As always, the Merritt Island Redevelopment Agency (MIRA) would like to thank the team at Ivey’s Construction, Inc., Brevard County Government, Brevard County Parks & Recreation Department, and all of the engineers, architects, contractors, agencies, and individuals that have been instrumental in bringing this amazing project to fruition!
